SAINT PATRICK'S DAY

Saint Patrick's Day is a cultural and religious celebration that happens annually on 17 March to mark the death date of the most commonly-recognised patron saint of Ireland, Saint Patrick. 

El día de San Patricio es una celebración cultural y religiosa que sucede todos los años el 17 de marzo para conmemorar la muerte del patrón de Irlanda, San Patricio.

FRUITS AND VEGETABLES

We learnt different textures with lines, shapes and colours.

The textures are:

 HARD, SOFT, ROUGH AND SMOOTH.

Hemos aprendido diferentes texturas en clase son lineas, formas y colores.

Las texturas son: DURO, SUAVE, RUGOSO Y SUAVE

We painted beautiful fruits and vegetables with a lot of details.

PEACE DAY

Today it is Peace Day and we make a peace dove.

Hoy es el Día de la Paz y nosotros hacemos una paloma de la paz.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

In December, we made a Christmas wreath with clothespins ,cardboard circles, bows, temperas and paintbrushs.

En diciembre, hicimos una corona de Navidad con pinzas, círculos de cartulina, lazos, témperas y pinceles.

 We used cooperative work to carry out this activity, it's very enriching for the children and it´s very funny too.

Usamos el trabajo cooperativo para llevar a cabo esta actividad, que es algo muy enriquecedor y divertido para los niños.

We worked in this craft a lot of things that we learnt during the last three months, for example: the colours, make patterns, remember vocabulary... and also, we learnt how to use the paintbrush.

En esta manualidad trabajamos muchas cosas que hemos aprendido durante estos meses atrás, por ejemplo: los colores, hacer patrones, recordar vocabulario... y también aprendimos como usar el pincel.

MAKE A CHRISTMAS WREATH

Instructions:

Paint several clothespins with diferents colours.

Make sure to paint the sides and bottoms of clothespins.

Put the clothespin on the circles.

Decorate with felttips the clothes pin.

Tie the bow on the circle.

HACER UNA CORONA DE NAVIDAD

Instrucciones:

Pintar muchas pinzas con diferentes colores.

Asegurarnos de pintar todos los lados de las pinzas.

Poner las pinzas en los círculos.

Decorar con rotuladores las pinzas.

Atar el lazo al círculo

INVITATION FOR MY BIRTHDAY

PRIMARY AND SECONDARY COLOURS

We had learnt that red, blue and yellow are primary colours and when we mix some of them, we create the secondary colours.

When you mix RED and YELLOW, you get ORANGE.
When you mix YELLOW and BLUE, you get GREEN.
When you mix RED and BLUE, you get  PURPLE.

Hemos aprendido que rojo, azul y amarillo son los colores primarios y que cuando mezclamos algunos de ellos obtenemos los colores secundarios.

Cuando mezclas ROJO y AMARILLO, consigues NARANJA
Cuando mezclas  AMARILLO y AZUL, consigues VERDE
Cuando mezclas ROJO y AZUL, consigues MORADO.

We made some works about this. For example, we painted with crayons a picture with fruits.
Nosotros hicimos varios trabajos sobre esto. Por ejemplo, nosotros pintamos con ceras un dibujo con frutas.
