In Arts Class the children paint mandalas to learn the diferents colors. In addition, painting mandalas is very good to relax and concentrate.

(Es importante saber que en inglés el color (el adjetivo) siempre se coloca delante del objeto (sustantivo) por lo tanto la traducción al español no es totalmente exacta).

PRIMARY AND SECONDARY COLOURS

We had learnt that red, blue and yellow are primary colours and when we mix some of them, we create the secondary colours.

When you mix RED and YELLOW, you get ORANGE.
When you mix YELLOW and BLUE, you get GREEN.
When you mix RED and BLUE, you get  PURPLE.

Hemos aprendido que rojo, azul y amarillo son los colores primarios y que cuando mezclamos algunos de ellos obtenemos los colores secundarios.

Cuando mezclas ROJO y AMARILLO, consigues NARANJA
Cuando mezclas  AMARILLO y AZUL, consigues VERDE
Cuando mezclas ROJO y AZUL, consigues MORADO.

We made some works about this. For example, we painted with crayons a picture with fruits.
Nosotros hicimos varios trabajos sobre esto. Por ejemplo, nosotros pintamos con ceras un dibujo con frutas.

Also, we listened this fantastic song.
También, escuchamos esta fantástisca canción.
