INVITATION FOR MY BIRTHDAY

I write an invitation for my birthday.

PRIMARY AND SECONDARY COLOURS

We had learnt that red, blue and yellow are primary colours and when we mix some of them, we create the secondary colours.

When you mix RED and YELLOW, you get ORANGE.
When you mix YELLOW and BLUE, you get GREEN.
When you mix RED and BLUE, you get  PURPLE.

Hemos aprendido que rojo, azul y amarillo son los colores primarios y que cuando mezclamos algunos de ellos obtenemos los colores secundarios.

Cuando mezclas ROJO y AMARILLO, consigues NARANJA
Cuando mezclas  AMARILLO y AZUL, consigues VERDE
Cuando mezclas ROJO y AZUL, consigues MORADO.

We made some works about this. For example, we painted with crayons a picture with fruits.
Nosotros hicimos varios trabajos sobre esto. Por ejemplo, nosotros pintamos con ceras un dibujo con frutas.

Also, we listened this fantastic song.
También, escuchamos esta fantástisca canción.

HEAD, SHOULDERS, KNEES AND TOES

We sing all together our favourite song. 
We learn: Head, shoulders, knees, toes, eyes, ears, mouth, nose.... 
At the same time we have fun. 
I love it!

Cantamos todos juntos nuestra canción favorita. 
Aprendemos: Cabeza, hombros, rodillas, dedos de los pies, ojos, orejas, boca, nariz...
A la vez que nos divertimos. 
Me encanta!

GRUMP´S BIRTHDAY

We have celebrated Grump´s birthday. Grumps is our new friend. He´s very old.

In our party:

• I can see a chocolate cake and cups. 
• I can see green jelly, red jelly and yellow jelly. 
• We´ve got party hats and we drink tee from the teapot. 
• In the party there are many ballons. 

Los niños de 1º hemos celebrado el cumpleaños de Grumps. Grumps es nuestro nuevo amigo. 

Él cumple muchos años.

En nuestra fiesta: 

• Yo puedo ver una tarta de chocolate y tazas. 
• Yo puedo ver gelatina verde, gelatina roja, y gelatina amarilla. 
• Nosotros tenemos gorritos de fiesta y bebemos té de la tetera.

HALLOWEEN

The last Halloween, we prepared in Arts some terrifying desserts: bloody eyes, pumpkins and spiders.

We spent a very funny afternoon! It was a sweet Halloween!

En Halloween, estuvimos preparando en Artes terroríficos postres: ojos sangrientos, calabazas y arañas.

¡Pasamos una tarde muy divertida! ¡Fue un dulce Hallowen!

RAINBOW SONG

In Arts and Craft, we learned the colours with a song about the rainbow.

It's been a long time.... but we are back again .
Ha pasado mucho tiempo.....pero estamos de vuelta.

Pancake Tuesday

Tonight Monty has been very busy. He has been cooking some pancakes. He wants to celebrate tomorrow Pancake Tuesday. Esta noche Monty ha estado muy ocupado. Ha estado cocinando tortitas. Quiere celebrar "Pancake Tuesday". 

He also leaves two easy recipes just in case you want to taste them. One of them in english and the second one is in english and in spanish.Os deja dos recetas faciles por si acaso quereis probarlas. Una es en inglés y la otra es bilingüe.

Carnival

Monty  decided to join to our Carnival Festival. He was dressed up as a Pirate.
Lots of kisses from him.

Monty se vino a nuestro carnaval. Se disfrazó de pirata. un montón de besos de su parte.

 

In our school we have 'special days'. In January we prepared a gathering to celebrate and show we think the PEACE is really important. We spent a week working and thinking about it inclass.  We changed  mobile phones with our Peace messages with elder students.  In Arts we wanted to join in and tried to do our bit .
We were inspired by an artwork by Picasso ' Hand with bunch of flowers' and now you can have a look.
Monty is on holidays but he sends you lots of kisses.

En nuestro colegio celebramos los días "especiales". En enero se preparó una celebración para mostrar que pensamos y creemos que la Paz es realmente importante. Pasamos una semana trabajando y pensando sobre la paz. Cambiamos los móviles con nuestros mensajes de paz con alumnos más mayores. En artes nos quisimos unir y poner nuestro granito de arena. nos inspiramos en una obra de Picasso "Mano con ramo de flores" y ahora podéis echarle un vistazo al resultado.

Monty está de vacaciones y os envia muchos besos.

We're back- De vuelta

After the Christmas break we're back. Después de las vacaciones de Navidad estamos de vuelta.

It's a little grey mouse and it comes from Cambridge. Unfortunately it doesn't speak spanish ;-).
